The training camp brings together a 30-player squad drawn from various units. The team remains under the guidance of head coach Okiyama Masahiko, who successfully coached the side through the qualification stage.

Earlier, on February 23, the team held its first training session. As scheduled, the players will follow a rigorous schedule of two daily sessions at the VYF over the next two weeks. Focusing on physical conditioning, technical and tactical precision, and a thorough squad assessment.
From March 6-14, coach Okiyama and the team will head to China for an extended training camp, friendly matches, and additional professional development. From March 15-28, the team will reconvene in Ho Chi Minh City to adapt to climatic conditions similar to those expected in Thailand's Bangkok - the tournament host city.
While in Ho Chi Minh City, the team is scheduled to play two key friendly matches against Uzbekistan’s U20 women’s team on March 24 and March 27. These are considered critical tune-up games ahead of the continental competition. On March 29, the team will depart for Bangkok to compete in the finals.
In the group-stage draw, Vietnam has drawn Group A, where it will face China on April 1, Thailand on April 4, and Bangladesh on April 7.
