An award ceremony for the 9th Youth Stamp Award 2008, along with with an exhibition and a celebration to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Stamp Collectors’ Club, was organized on October 25th at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

Two first prizes were presented for stamp collections to “Chay vuot rao” by Vu Dinh Lieu and “Cong trinh cau duong” by Le Tran Man.

Two second prizes were given to “Truc thang” by Nguyen Ngoc Bao and “Thuyen buom” by Nguyen Mac Minh Le.

The organization board also gave two third prizes, two awards for best idea, a special prize, a prize for the most impressive collection, a jury favorite prize, three awards for children, and nine consolation prizes.

Also on display at the exhibition were 32 prize winning stamp collections, several of which had won some of the world’s biggest prizes in South Korea and Thailand.
