PANO –The Vietnam Football Federation on March 15th announced regulations and match schedules for Vietnam’s Women’s Football Tournament for 2011.

The tournament will officially begin on April 9th with the participation of 6 football clubs, including: Ha Noi Trang An 1, Ha Noi Trang An 2, Phong Phu Ha Nam, Vietnam Coal and Minerals, Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen Iron etc.

The organisers applied the two-turn circle mode to help players have more training opportunities. The first leg will begin on April 9th and finish on April 27th. The second leg will be between July 2nd and July 20th. All the matches will take place a stadium in Ha Nam Province.

This tournament prizes will be more valuable than on previous one. Accordingly, the champion will receive a Cup, gold medals, and an award of VND 150 million; the runners-up receive silver medals, an award of VND 100 million, and the third prize winners receive bronze medals and an award of VND 50 million.

Furthermore, the organisers will give other prizes for the fair team, the best player, the best goalkeeper and the top goal-scorer.
