The event, held to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025), was attended by Party General Secretary and CMC’s Secretary To Lam and leaders of the Party, State, military, ministries, agencies, and localities.

“Under the Glorious Flag” was presented as a vivid and emotional declaration of patriotism, the aspiration for peace, and the resilient spirit of Vietnam throughout its long history of national building and defense.

The program linked the thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi, the ancient capital of Hue, and the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, resonating like the unified heartbeat of the nation, moving from scenes of peace to wartime struggles, from a mother’s lullaby to battlefield oaths, and the enduring faith under the glorious flag.

The highlight of the program was a vivid tapestry portraying a united yet diverse Vietnam, harmoniously bound by its identity. The program integrated symphonic music, pop, rock, rap, and contemporary dance, featuring both military and civilian music stars. It also employed cutting-edge staging with Visual LED screens, hologram projections, Sky AR technology, and sophisticated lighting and sound effects.

During the program, timeless patriotic songs were renewed and staged in modern arrangements, performed by leading Vietnamese artists, creating a connection between the past, present, and future.

An artistic performance at the program

This multi-layered artistic space allowed the audience not only to watch but to immerse themselves in history, emotions, and pride. It aimed to honor historical values, cultural beauty, and the noble qualities of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” in the cause of national construction and defense; to inspire revolutionary ideals; and to instill responsibility, faith, and a spirit of dedication in younger generations.
