Phu Thuong sticky rice festival 2025 opens
PANO - Phu Thuong Sticky Rice Traditional Craft Village and the Management Sub-committee of Phu Gia village relic site jointly held the eighth sticky rice festival on February 5 at Phu Gia communal house in Tay Ho district, Hanoi.

This annual traditional cultural festival reflects Phu Thuong villagers’ aspirations for a prosperous and abundant life.
Addressing the event, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ho district’s Phu Thuong ward Nguyen Van Tuong affirmed that Phu Thuong sticky rice is a famous culinary dish and Phu Thuong old craft village is a tourist attraction, alluring numerous domestic and foreign visitors to visit and experience, thus improving the material and spiritual life of local people.
The chairman laid stress on the village’s preservation and development of the sticky rice craft.
From simple but meaningful sticky rice stalls, the image of a land rich in culture is more widely popularized to friends from all over the world, contributing to developing more civilized, wealthy and beautiful Phu Thuong ward, worthy of the tradition of a heroic ward, said the official.
