Outstanding artists honored at the exhibition |
The exhibition features 40 artworks by 39 artists from across Vietnam with aspirations to preserve proud images and moments of being Vietnamese. Each work tells its own story, from simple childhood memories to the joys of daily life and work. Many works highlight distinctive cultural elements, such as the vibrant traditional attire of ethnic groups in the highlands or the national flag with its golden star on the red background, a sacred symbol tied to the nation’s heroic history.
In addition, the artworks create a visual space where memory, the present, and aspirations gather. Each brushstroke conveys love for the homeland, gratitude to the older generations, and belief in a bright future carried forward by today’s youth.
The event not only offers a fresh artistic experience but also contributes to spreading historical narratives and cultural values that transcend geographical space and generational gaps, making art a bridge to reach young people, helping them better understand and cherish their country.

The exhibition attracts a lot of foreign visitors. |
Alex Duncaleff, a visitor from Canada, shared that he understood that each artwork is telling its own story. Personally, he felt the painting styles carry a childlike touch, which he believed is intentional to nurture patriotism in children from an early age. He was particularly impressed with pieces that combine people and jobs with the symbol of a five-pointed star, as they convey a sense of pride in being Vietnamese that any visitor can feel.
The exhibition runs until September 30.
