Receiving artifacts donated by the Military Region 7 Museum

Director Pham Thanh Nam reviewed the President’s revolutionary career, describing him as an exemplar of patriotism, loyalty, and humility. Citing late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, Nam noted that the President’s greatest legacy was his character, a blend of Southern chivalry, resilience, and communist morality. Over the past year, the museum’s new facilities have successfully attracted numerous visitors seeking to learn about his life.

During the event, the museum received artifacts from the Military Region 7 Museum and the President’s relatives, Ton Nu Bach Tuyet and Tran Nam Huong. Huong emotionally presented a porcelain plate gifted by the President to her grandfather, comrade Ung Van Khiem, in 1960. The President had intended the gift as a keepsake between two men living far from their hometowns. By donating this heirloom, the family aims to preserve its value and educate future generations on national traditions.
