Pa Vi Thuong hamlet has 174 households with more than 700 residents, of whom the H’mong ethnic minority group accounts for 75%. In recent years, under the leadership of local Party committees and authorities, and with the active involvement of the Fatherland Front Working Committee, patriotic movements and the “All people united to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” campaign have achieved many positive results. The poverty rate has fallen to 13.7%. Local people have promoted livestock breeding, crop cultivation, and the improvement of mixed gardens; many laborers have sought work outside the province, helping increase household incomes.

Alongside economic development, the cultural life of the hamlet has seen many improvements. Residents actively preserve traditional cultural identity, eliminate outdated customs, and uphold civilized practices in weddings and funerals. The hamlet currently has 135 families recognized as “Cultural families,” including 35 households that have maintained this honor for three consecutive years. Education, healthcare, vaccination, and environmental protection activities are regularly maintained. The forest protection team conducts continuous patrols, ensuring no forest fires or illegal logging occur.
