Nearly 400 documents on display in response to International Day of Happiness
PANO - On March 19, at Hanoi Library, the Hanoi city’s Department of Culture and Sports introduced books, themed “Happiness for all of us,” and talks, themed “Ho Chi Minh’s thought on happiness.”
This was a series of activities in celebration of the 11th anniversary of the International Day of Happiness (March 20, 2013 - 2024), aiming to raise public awareness of happiness; deepen the humanistic values of the Vietnamese family; cultivate the happiness of family, community and society, among others. It also contributed to disseminating law on Family Violence Prevention and Control; and Government Decree on family work.

Via nearly 400 documents, including books, newspapers, magazines, the organizing panel introduced major topics, such as the history and the importance of International Day of Happiness and activities held in Vietnam on International Day of Happiness, the Party’s viewpoints and State’s policies and laws on social welfare and building a happy family, to name but a few. The book display will last until March 23.
In the framework of the program, during the talks themed “Ho Chi Minh’s thought about happiness,” Prof., Dr. Hoang Chi Bao, former member of the Party Central Committee’s Theoretical Council, talked about President Ho Chi Minh’s viewpoint as well as his sacrifice for the liberation, unification, and happiness of the Vietnamese people.
