The Tinh van Group’s Xalo.vn and the Thanh Nien newspaper have launched a photo contest entitled “My Vietnam” on the website www.myvietnam.vn.

The contest is aimed at encourage teenagers to record realistic and beautiful images of Vietnam in order to raise national awareness of sights of the country and to promote love for the home country.

The contest is also designed to bring lively and joyful visions of Vietnam of today to international friends and the internet community.

Photos must be taken by young people aged 12-20 years old and entries should be posted on the website www.myvietnam.vn from March 9th to August 31th.

The photos will be also patched together to form a map of Vietnam.

A best weekly and monthly photo will be chosen, highlighted on the website and received an award.

The amount of money to be given out in awards will havetotal more than VND 40 million.
