In his remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh extended his sympathy to residents in localities affected by recent floods. He emphasized that culture is the invisible thread connecting people and nations across the world. The festival, he noted, serves as a bridge linking the Vietnamese culture with those of other nations, contributing to realizing the Party’s guidelines of developing culture as a source of internal strength, and promoting the cultural and entertainment industries.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underscored that through such initiatives, Vietnam seeks to bring its distinctive cultural identity to the world while embracing the essence of global civilizations. He expressed his hope that embassies and consulates in Vietnam will continue to support and participate in the annual event, fostering solidarity and shared compassion among nations.

Held under the theme “Connection – Sharing – Spreading Love,” the festival features a wide array of vibrant cultural spaces, including traditional dances from Asia and Europe, exhibitions of costumes and cuisines, and Vietnamese art performances carrying the message “The World Beats with One Heart.” A charity auction and fundraising campaign were also organized, with proceeds to be donated to flood-affected areas for rebuilding houses, schools, and public facilities.
