PANO - The 14th Fine-Art Photos Festival in the Northern Mountainous Region opened in Lang Son city, Lang Son province, on August 25th by the Vietnam Photographers’ Association and the provincial Art and Literature Association.

The twelve-day festival displays 206 outstanding photos capturing the beauty of the nature, the homeland, and people in mountainous areas in the North, achievements in economy, science and technology, defence and security, social welfare, good examples in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, and ethnic minority groups’ cultural and spiritual life.

Those works were taken by 284 photographers from 15 northern provinces and cities.

The organizer presented prizes to best works highlighting the area’s tourism in developing the potential and strength.

Cao Bang province will host the 15th festival.
