International Television - Asia Pacific (BVITV-AP) under the Walt Disney Company has signed a contract with the Q.net company to distribute its cartoons on HTV 7 channel of Ho Chi Minh City Television.
From now on, the trademark of Toon Disney will be on daily on HTV7 from Monday to Saturday from 6 am to 6.30 am.
This is the first time Vietnamese children can enjoy a variety of cartoon films made by Walt Disney and Disney's Mickey Mouseworks. Many interesting films will be screened such as the adventures of Mickey and Donald, Disney/Pixar's Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Disney's Timon & Pumbaa.
Steven Macallister, Vice Chairman and managing director of the BVITV-AP, said he hoped that Vietnamese children would be happy to see the most famous cartoon characters worldwide.
