Dien Bien province holds special highland cultural space
PANO – The Dien Bien provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony on March 16 to kick off a highland cultural space, featuring the display of cultural and tourism products.
The event was part of activities held by the host province within the framework of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and Hoa Ban (Bauhinia Flower) Festival 2024, celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024).
The highland cultural space event will reappear the space, cultural colors, and community activities of ethnic minority groups, thereby contributing to honoring and inspiring the love for ethnic culture.
By organizing the event, Dien Bien province hopes to connect localities and create more opportunities for businesses to cooperate and introduce cultural products and traditional crafts; giving wings to cultural, tourism and OCOP products of each locality to have the opportunity to fly high and far.
Highland cultural space activities and exhibitions of cultural and tourist products were held for 3 days March 16 - 18, at two locations: The De Castries tunnel relic area and the headquarters of the Cultural Exchange Center for Dien Bien Phu tourism information.
