Held at Van Thanh Tourist Area (Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh City), the festival showcased over 400 exquisite dishes and 50 types of traditional cakes. Visitors experienced the culinary culture of Vietnam in three exhibition areas, corresponding to the culinary specialties of the Northern, Central, and Southern regions. The dishes were prepared and served by renowned chefs from 4-5 star hotels, resorts, and restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as from various localities nationwide.

The festival also featured various activities such as cultural exchanges, folk games, and the reenactment of traditional craft villages. Additionally, there were numerous artistic performances for visitors to enjoy, including Quan Ho (love duet) folk songs from Bac Ninh, Then singing, traditional musical instruments, Khmer folk music, Southern folk opera (don ca tai tu), reformed theater (cai luong), and excerpts from classical drama (tuong).

Pham Huy Binh, Chairman of the Member's Council of the Saigontourist Group and Head of the Steering Committee for the festival, stated, "The festival contributes to stimulating domestic tourism, diversifying the tourism products of Ho Chi Minh City, and promoting Vietnamese culinary culture. The success of this festival is crucial for elevating its status to an international level in the future. We plan to take the festival abroad to serve overseas Vietnamese and further promote tourism in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam as a whole."
