Da Nang to host int’l culinary festival
PANO – The 2019 Da Nang International Food Festival (DNIFF 2019), themed “Taste of Homeland,” is expected to take place at the park near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Son Tra district, Da Nang city, from June 2 to 6.

The fist-ever International Food Festival in the central city of Vietnam will see the participation of President of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Thomas Andeas Gugler and 13 globally renowned culinary experts from Germany, Mexico, Australia, India, China, the US, Turkey, and Singapore.
During the DNIFF 2019, each night the WACS President will choose a chef to prepare his or her country’s typical dish in a special section called Big Dish.
Visitors will have a chance to experience specialties of the participating foreign countries and Vietnam’s central region.
Other activities will include a culinary carnival, exchanges with local students majoring in tourism, an awarding ceremony for local Agent Orange/dioxin children, and an exhibition to showcase tourism products.
