Book series about Lieutenant General Dong Sy Nguyen issued

The book series consists of three volumes featuring a multidimensional perspective on Lt. Gen. Dong Sy Nguyen - an excellent practical activist of the Vietnamese revolution and a talented general of the country.

Family of Lt. Gen. Dong Sy Nguyen presents the book series to the People’s Army Publishing House.

During his revolutionary career, along with practical activities, Lt. Gen. Dong Sy Nguyen left a valuable legacy, including theoretical works, lessons and experience in combat and national construction and development, among others.

After nearly a year of collecting,  compiling, editing and publishing, the book series was completed by the People’s Army Publishing House and released on the occasion of the general's 100th birthday.

According to Senior Colonel Pham Van Truong, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Publishing House, the book series affirmed Lt. Gen Dong Sy Nguyen was a bright example. It also showed his steadfast political will, bravery and devotion, absolute loyalty to the Party, Fatherland and people.

Meanwhile, the book series contributed to educating the public, especially young generations, on the revolutionary traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army, the great sacrifice of previous generations in the struggle for national liberation and freedom.
