The event was attended by Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Loi, Senior Colonel, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Tu De, along with many delegates, artists, and historical witnesses.

The book “50 Years of Vietnam’s Strength” features images of the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025) and other significant activities of the Vietnam People’s Army. Meanwhile, “Peaceful City - Our City” portrays Ho Chi Minh City in a warm and humane light, capturing moments of citizens’ daily life.

The exhibition presents more than 100 photojournalistic artworks, recreating the solemn and heroic atmosphere of the historic April days.

A German visitor, Walter Walter, shared, “Although I could not attend the parade, through this exhibition I truly felt the resilience and patriotism of the Vietnamese people.”

The exhibition is open free of charge until July 29.
