A gemstone picture will be auctioned to help the poor during the Ha Long Tourism Festival from April 24 to May 2.

The gemstone picture, 2 metres x 3.9 metres, depicts the scene of Ha Long Bay.

The 100-million sectional panorama, was made by artist Nguyen Hung. He spent two months to complete the work in order to promote Ha Long Bay.

The artist is waiting for his work to be regconised as the biggest gemstone picture in Vietnam.
