Artistic program marking wounded and fallen soldiers’ day
PANO – An artistic program, “Immortal children”, to mark the day for wounded and fallen soldiers was organized by the Journalists and Public Opinion Newspaper and the Vietnam National Assembly Television, on July 23 in Hanoi.

During the event, the participants were entertained with impressive artistic performances performed by popular singers, including Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Hong Hanh, and Phuong Thao. Audiences also had a chance to listen to stories shared by Senior Colonel, writer Dang Vuong Hung, artist Dang Ai Viet who had traveled across the country to draw portraits of Vietnamese heroic mothers, and Nguyen Son Lam, an Agent Orange victim.
Launched three years ago, the program has presented around 400 savings books and more than 1,000 gifts to needy policy beneficiaries across the country. This year, the organizers also presented gifts to fallen soldiers’ relatives, wounded soldiers, Agent Orange victims, former youth volunteers and honored benefactors.
