Artistic program praises Uncle Ho
PANO – The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) held an artistic program to praise Uncle Ho on June 10 at the Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh city, Nghe An province), on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the first time Uncle Ho’s return to his home town (June 16).

Present at the program were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for Information and Education Vo Van Thuong; Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu; Head of Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; and VOV's General Director Nguyen The Ky.
The program featured various genres of singing, dancing, poetry recitation, and “Vi giam” singing with the participation of popular singers such as Thanh Hoa, Trong Tan, Viet Hoan, Tan Nhan, Thanh Le, Dang Thuat, Bui Le Man. The program relived President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood in his hometown – Sen Village, his route to find a way of saving the country and his first return to his village after 50 years.
