PANO - An art program, entitled “Towards the nation’s borders, seas and islands”, will take place on March 1st at an outdoor stage in Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province.

This large-scale event aims to recall the tradition of our troops and people in the fight to defend our nation’s sovereignty over its borders, seas and islands; to introduce the content of the law of the sea to fishermen and people in general; to timely commend and reward officers and troops of the border guard, naval, marine police, local forces and people who have distinguished themselves in defending the nation's sovereignty over its borders, seas and islands.

Co-hosted by the Southwestern Region Steering Board, Border Post High Command, Military Zone 9, Naval Region 5, Marine Police Region 4 and Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee, the event is expected to have more support from local authorities, businesses and other benefactors to improve the quality of life for troops and people near borders, on islands and seas.
