Free health check-ups for needy people in Cambodia
PANO - A medical team from the Song Tien International Border Guard Station under the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with the Youth Union chapters of Phu Tan district and Tan Chau town (Vietnam), on September 29 provided free health check-ups and medicines for, and presented gifts to local people in Kaomsano commune, Lek Dek district, Kan Dal province, Cambodia.
Nearly 300 people received free healthcare, health counseling, and medicines at a total cost of VND 60 million.

According to Senior Colonel Huynh Van Dong, Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command, such activities are carried out regularly, contributing to improving the medical service quality and health conditions for needy people in the border communes of Ta Keo and Kan Dal, Cambodia.
These activities have promoted a peaceful environment, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the authorities, border guard forces and people of the two countries, he noted.
