Expressing his delight at the fruitful ties between the two Parties, N.A.s, and people, Dinh said that the delegation visit takes place at a time when Vietnam is organizing multiple events in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). The visit also demonstrates the Lao side’s responsibility and solidarity with the Vietnamese parliament in completing the book, deepening relations and traditional friendship between the two countries.

He praised the project’s meticulous and well-coordinated process, which brought together legislators, scholars, and experts from both sides, alongside numerous seminars and workshops to ensure the book’s political and diplomatic integrity.

This is the first publication jointly produced by the two N.A.s, Dinh said, expressing his hope that the Lao delegation will join hands with a working group from the Vietnamese N.A. to conduct the final review to ensure the best quality before issuance in the third quarter.

The N.A. Vice Chairman described the book as a valuable document that will improve the awareness of the younger generation about the sound ties between the two parliaments.

Sanya, for his part, briefed the host on the compilation of the book, emphasizing the close coordination between the two sides on the work, from refining the manuscript and translating and editing its content to revising details. He said each draft was developed with a high degree of consensus.

The Lao official said he hopes that both sides will continue working together to complete and release the book on schedule.
