ASEAN children’s festival to be held in Vietnam

PANO – A gala night for ASEAN children will be broadcast live on VTV1 at 20:10pm on June 1^st, as part of the ASEAN children’s festival.

This is the first time the festival was jointly organized by Vietnam Television, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, ASEAN countries’ embassies in Vietnam, the Cooperation and Development Fund, and Phuong Dong Communications And Culture Joint Stock Company. The festival offers opportunities for ASEAN children to interact and to learn about the culture of international friends.

During the four-day festival on May 29^th to June 1^st, children from seven ASEAN countries will visit tourist destinations in Hanoi, take part in folk games, and experience Vietnamese family life through a homestay program.

Participating children will also be able to star in a music MV, delivering the ASEAN message of “one vision, one identity, one community”.
