On the sidelines of the conference, Dung held bilateral meetings with delegations from the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s Accountability Authority and the heads of supreme audit institutions from Malaysia, Maldives, and Singapore. Over the past 15 years, the SAV has played an active leadership role as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of the ASEAN Supreme Audit Institutions (ASEANSAI), which is a key body in shaping the organization’s development vision. Vietnam has also led technical projects, organized training workshops, and promoted good practices across member SAIs through its participation in the Knowledge Sharing Committee.
