The delegation inquired after the people and troops on duty on islands, namely Len Dao, Sinh Ton Dong, An Bang, Da Dong C, Da Tay B, and Truong Sa, internationally known as Lansdowne Reef, Grierson Reef, Amboyna Cay, East London Reef C, West London Reef B, and Spratly, respectively, and DK1/9 platform.

During the visits, the delegation offered incense at the monument of the no-number ships of Naval Region 2, attended the memorial ceremony for heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands in the Lansdowne - Gac Ma (Johnson South) - Cô Lin (Collins Reef) waters, and participated in the flag-raising and incense offering ceremonies at the Martyrs’ Monument and the memorial house in dedication to President Ho Chi Minh on Truong Sa archipelago, and joined artistic exchange programs with troops and islanders, to name but a few.

The visits gave participants better understanding of national sovereignty over sea and islands and the great sacrifice and dedication of naval troops who are performing the task of safeguarding sea and islands.

The visits were seen as meaningful activities, contributing to encouraging islanders and troops on duty on the Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platforms to continue to maintain political stance, overcome difficulties, and stay united to accomplish all assigned missions.
