Naval Region 3 organizes program on national sea and islands

The event was attended by Secretary of Da Nang municipal Youth Union Organization Nguyen Manh Dung, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union VNPT Vietnam Hoang Tien Hung, and Chief of the Department of Political Affars of the Naval Region 3 Command Naval Captain Pham Tien Chinh, and more than 150 officials and youths.

On behalf of the VNPT Vietnam, Mr. Hoang Tien Hung hailed the support of the Da Nang municipal Youth Union, youths of VNPT Group, and troops of Naval Region 3 to help them fulfill all assigned missions.

Addressing the event, Naval Captain Pham Tien Chinh affirmed that this was a meaningful program for the youths to express their patriotism and sentiments towards national sea and islands.

Presenting gifts to troops’ needy children

He hoped to receive more support from relevant organizations so as to spread the noble deeds while tightening military-civilian ties, contributing to firmly protecting national sea and islands.

On the occasion, delegates were informed about the situation over national sea and islands as well as viewpoints of the Party and State on protecting national sea and islands.

They also planted 2,100 casuarina trees, presented 15 gifts to fishermen’s children, and 10 gifts to naval troops’ critically-ill children.
