Khanh Hoa youths join meaningful activities for national sea and islands

In this program, many practical and significant activities were held. They included a free health check-up and medicine provision program for people in Ninh Hai ward, Ninh Hoa town; a visit to learn about Naval Flotilla 32 and increase awareness of national sea and islands and Vietnam Coast Guard force’s tradition; exchange to boost military-civilian ties.

Colonel Hoang Ngoc Thien, Political Commissar of Naval Flotilla 32 said that the “Khanh Hoa youths for national sea and islands” 2023 program aimed to show people’s sentiment for national sea and islands in general and Youth Union members and local people for troops of Naval Flotilla 32 in particular.

Apart from the aforementioned program, the flotilla has actively worked with local authorities to conduct social welfare activities and other movements, especially the program “Coast guards support fishermen” with practical outcomes, greatly influencing the society, importantly contributing to the completion of the national maritime sovereignty, security and safety defense mission.

Taking part in the program, Ta Thi Thanh Truc, a student from the Central Teacher Training College’s Nha Trang branch, said that she was happy to receive a scholarship and experience the warm atmosphere in the program. “It helps me further understand the duty of safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands. It will be a motivation for me to get higher academic results in the time ahead,” Truc stressed.

Also in this program, participating organizations and individuals presented gifts, worth totally nearly VND 300 million, to local policy beneficiary families, fishermen’ families, students, and servicemen facing difficulties in line.
