Digital exhibition affirms Vietnam’s sovereignty over sea, islands
PANO - The digital exhibition themed “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa, Truong Sa – Historical and Legal Evidence” was kicked off on October 27 at the High School of Bac Binh district of Binh Thuan province under the co-ordination of the provincial Department of Information and Communications and Department of Education and Training.
At the event, teachers and students of the school were introduced to documents and evidence affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands. The documents include maps printed by Vietnam, China and Western countries affirming the sovereignty of Vietnam over the two archipelagoes.

At the event, representatives of the provincial Border Guard Command also introduced to the participants the brief information about the current situation in the East Sea (South China Sea), the importance of sea and islands in the cause of national development and defense, as well as the guideline of the Party, policies of the State over the sea and islands.
The activity has helped raise the teachers and students' awareness of and responsibility for the cause of national construction and safeguarding. Each student is to become a disseminator to help everyone understand and jointly safeguard the nation’s sea and islands.
