PANO – Ever-running flows of water nearby yellow rice fields bring romantic views to visitors to Ban Gioc Waterfall, Cao Bang province on these autumn days.

Situated in Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province and bordering China, Ban Gioc is considered the most beautiful waterfall of Vietnam. Though autumn is not the time when the waterfall has the highest level of water, it is the season when a lot of visitors are attracted to the waterfall due to the eye- and mind-catching view of the yellow rice fields around it.
Opposite to the rumbling waterfall, lower down the Quay Son River is the peaceful life of the locals.
Sunset on the yellow rice fields in Phong Nam border commune. Though not as well-known as Ban Gioc, the site attracts a lot of photographers due to its breathtaking scenes in autumn when the ripe rice fields seem to mingle in layers of mountains and hills.
Sunrise on Ngoc Con field in the far-off border area, about 20km from Ban Gioc Waterfall. The scenic view of the field is a worthwhile present to those who dare to conquer all the bumpy paths to the site.

Sunrise and sunset are the two most beautiful moments in a day here when the vertical rays of the sun shine down the yellow land.
