The project’s objective, set for 2025, is to equip 80 percent of key bus stations, highway stops, railway stations, inland waterway ports and airports with modern facilities and connected tourist locations.

All highways and expressways will be operated and managed by smart applications so as to gradually wipe out hotspots of traffic accidents.

The project will include investment in building new tourism bus stations, seaports, airports and railway routes in localities which have great potential for tourism.

All means of tourist transport for roads and inland waterways must have equipment that meets service quality and technical safety regulations.

The project will also target investment in developing vehicles for tourists using advanced, eco-friendly and energy-saving technologies.

One of the tasks of the project is to invest in building and improving transport infrastructure facilities to ensure traffic safety and support tourism.

The project will invest in the North - South Expressway, Thap Cham - Da Lat railway route, and waterway routes to tourist islands of Co To, Cat Ba and Phu Quoc.

The project will have measures to ensure transportation costs are reasonable and consistent with the quality of services, as well as to apply policies on ticket prices and smart ticketing forms. It will promote the provision of trip information and transport support services such as apps to find routes or transport fares to create favourable conditions for tourists.
