New speedboat to serve tourists to Phu Quoc
PANO – The Phu Quoc Express Joint-stock Company launched a five-star speedboat, named Phu Quoc Express 8, and opened the Rach Gia-Phu Quoc speedboat route for ferry passengers to Phu Quoc.

The Phu Quoc Express 8 was built by Company 189 of the General Department of Industry and Defense and installed with an advanced control system. It can accommodate 296 passengers and operate at a top speed of 30 nautical miles per hour and even in severe weather conditions.
Earlier, the company put into operation a similar speedboat, named Phu Quoc Express 6, and launched it on the Ha Tien-Phu Quoc route.
With these routes, tourists will have more choices when traveling to Vietnam’s “pearl island.”
According to their plan, other speedboat routes connecting Rach Gia/Nam Du, Tran De/Con Dao, Vung Tau/Con Dao and Phan Thiet/Phu Quy will be operated in the future.
