PANO – The Kon Tum provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on February 5th kicked off a dugout canoe race on Dak Bla River to welcome the Lunar New Year.

The event attracted 42 canoes with 84 athletes of ethnic minority groups from communes and precincts along the river.

The first prize went to the team from Sa Binh commune, Sa Thay district.
