Bat Trang commune recognized as Hanoi tourism destination
PANO – The Gia Lam District People’s Committee held a press briefing on October 7 to announce the decision to recognize Bat Trang commune as a tourism destination of Hanoi.

Accordingly, the ceremony will be held on October 9 in Bat Trang commune. From October 9 to 13, local travel agencies will introduce their tourism products with the launch of many typical tourist attractions, including a culture and trade complex, a pottery exhibition, the opening of the Trang An ancient house, and a tourism and culture fair. Also, visitors will have a chance to experience traditional art performances and local cuisines.
On this occasion, the local authorities will introduce smart tourism products, such as 3D virtual reality glasses, electric bikes, a tourism portal, and so on.
The recognition of Bat Trang commune as a tourism destination is expected to contribute to promoting tourism and popularizing unique cultural identities of local craft villages, while at the same time heightening locals’ responsibilities in preserving and promoting traditional craft villages’ values.
