After about 2 months flying to HCM City from Almaty, the Kazakhstani airline Air Astana is planning to open its flights to Hanoi, as part of an expansion of its flight network to Asian cities.
According to Air Astana’s President Peter Foster, Hanoi is a nice city with various attractions. Moroever, from Hanoi, tourists could visit other beautiful place in North Vietnam. Therefore, the airline will consider opening its flights to Hanoi later this year along with more flights between Almaty and HCM City in the future.
President Peter Foster said that Vietnam is one of the top destinations, especially in winter, by tourists from Kazakhstan and Russia.
At present, Air Astana is operating two flights per week between Almaty and HCM City on Wednesday and Friday, using Boeing 757 with 16 business and 150 economic seats.
