The four silver medalists are 12th-grade students, including two from the High School for the Gifted under the University of Science of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, one from the Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted in Bac Ninh province, and another from the Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted in Hue city.

The 55th IPhO took place in France from July 17 to 25, drawing 406 contestants from 94 countries and territories. The competition featured challenging theoretical and experimental exams, blending modern physics with real-world applications, and paid tribute to France’s scientific heritage.

Vietnam’s strong performance continues its impressive record at international academic contests.
