On June 7, the Hanoi-based Ho Chi Minh Museum opened an exhibition themed “President Ho Chi Minh and the patriotic emulation movement.”

On display are over 200 documents and exhibits highlighting President Ho Chi Minh’s role in initiating, organizing and encouraging the Party, people and military to be active in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to raising troops’ and people’s awareness of the patriotic emulation movements in the current revolutionary period and urging the continuity of following and studying President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle.

The exhibits were arranged in three parts: ‘the resistance war and state-building in the 1945-1954 period,’ ‘building socialism in the North and liberating the South and reunifying the nation in the 1954-1975 period,’ and ‘patriotic emulation in President Ho Chi Minh’s thought since 1975.’

The exhibition runs till the end of this year.

Meanwhile, a ceremony has been held by the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee to celebrate the 70 years of the President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation. At the ceremony, the Committee emphasized the intensive implementation of emulation over the past years, with close attachment to missions and requirements in reality, creating a great driving force to boost local socio-economic development.

With achievements, the provincial Party Committee and people of minority ethnic groups were presented with a number of Party’s and State’s noble awards, while a number of the province’s national contributors received the Resistance War Order and orders and medals of different kinds and over 1,500 mothers were named Heroic Vietnamese Mother.

Recently, Quang Nam province’s Youth Union Organization has honored 30 youths who excelled at following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings this year.

On this occasion, the organization presented merit certificates to five youth union chapters with outstanding outcomes in realizing the Politburo’s Directive No.5.

Over the past years, Quang Nam’s youths have promoted movements, namely “Supporting startup youths” and “Youth Union organization get involved in sustainable poverty reduction.”
