The third stage starts with a solemn flag saluting ceremony.

A highlight of the ceremony was the handover of the “I Love My Fatherland” Journey torch to the youth of Tuyen Quang province. Having been carried from second stage in Hue city, the torch symbolizes faith, dedication, and the aspirations of Vietnam’s younger generation. It was then passed on to outstanding ethnic youth in Tuyen Quang, conveying a message of generational continuity in safeguarding national sovereignty, preserving cultural identity, and contributing to a stronger and more prosperous nation.

Following the torch handover, delegates and hundreds of Youth Federation members joined together in singing the song “I Love My Fatherland” at the foot of Lung Cu National Flag Tower. The familiar melody, accompanied by the vibrant red of the national flag, created a moving atmosphere that inspired patriotism and a spirit of service among young participants.

Beyond promoting patriotism and traditional values, the program also provided practical support for border communities and local children. During the event, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation and its partners presented 28 gift packages to families of wounded and sick soldiers, as well as other policy families. In addition, 23 scholarships were awarded to disadvantaged students at Lung Cu Ethnic Semi-boarding Secondary School, with each scholarship including a bicycle, gifts, and cash.

In addition to promoting patriotism and traditional values, the program is aimed at improving the lives of residents and young people in Vietnam’s border areas.

The organizers also presented a “Happy House” project valued at more than VND100 million, supported five livelihood development models for young people, and donated youth playgrounds to schools and highland communes. These initiatives aimed to improve learning and recreational conditions while encouraging children and young people in border areas to overcome challenges and strive for a better future.
