Under the MoU, the two sides will carry out joint projects on medical tests, which concern the application of new technologies as well as relevant research, monitoring and assessment.

The sides agreed to exchange human resources for training and experience sharing purposes, and share scientific information and practices, while organising consultation sessions on the role, operation and models of a national reference medical laboratory for public health.

The MoU will be valid for 5 years and could be extended based on bilateral agreement.

The sides expect to develop a long-term plan, and their engagement is set to expand in line with resources capacity and future opportunities.
