PANO - The weekly magazine, Business forum of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Economic Information Centre under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched the contest named “Students start up business 2007” on May 8.
The contest is sponsored by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Japan’s GE company.
The business start-up projects focus on areas such as production, commerce, investment, consultancy service, finance, vocational training and business strength for small- and medium-sized enterprises, especially enterprises run by students.
Contestants are students at universities, colleges and technical secondary schools nationwide.
The contest is one of the practical activities to respond to the “Youths start up business” movement launched by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
