PV GAS’s reports revealed that in response to the Workers' Month and action month for labor safety and hygiene, trade unions of units under the corporation promoted information dissemination on different platforms and held different sport activities to improve its personnel’s health.

In addition, PG GAS’s trade union members organized various activities to encourage needy workers to overcome all difficulties. In particular, they donated 68.7 million VND to support workers’ families, while proposing different initiatives to help their co-workers overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trade unions of the corporation’s units also launched programs, initiatives and movements to encourage their members to work to complete all set production targets. They also honored workers with outstanding achievements in carrying out Directive 05 on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle.

Over the past time, PV GAS’s companies, including KCM have cooperated with local public security forces and authorities to inspect their workers’ implementation of labor safety and hygiene regulations. Meanwhile, its LPG Company encouraged its workers to keep hygiene at their workplace, and its BODK Company provided health check-ups for its workers.

More specifically, amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the trade unions promoted the dissemination of COVID-19 prevention and control measures to their members and provided adequate face masks and hand sanitizers to protect their workers from the pandemic.

Furthermore, the trade union of LPG Company conducted COVID-19 tests for all workers and staff members, while the KDN Company’s contributed different feasible initiatives to help prevent SARS-CoV-2 from affecting its workers. KDN Company’s trade union also made short videos to update its members on the developments of COVID-19 and measures to protect themselves from the pandemic.

Apart from observing the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, KCM Company donated 100 million VND to assist Ca Mau’s Health Department in combating the pandemic and presented gifts, including milk, crackers, and instant noodles to medical checkpoints in Ca Mau province. The company also collaborated with Ca Mau’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention to collect the samples of 50 staff members for COVID-19 testing.

These activities of trade unions of PV GAS’s units have practically contributed to ensuring labor safety and hygiene for their members, thus raising their living standards.
