Duc commended the force involved for fulfilling the campaign’s objectives, reaffirming that it remains absolutely loyal to the Fatherland and the people, and is determined to successfully accomplish any task entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
More than 11,000 policemen from nine central and Central Highlands provinces were mobilized, alongside thousands of grassroots security personnel. In addition, 300 mobile police officers and cadets from public security academies were deployed to directly assist local residents.
According to reports, the force built 419 new houses for families whose homes had collapsed, while repairing infrastructure in Ha Tinh, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong. All construction work has now been completed, exceeding the Prime Minister’s required schedule by 30%.
Meanwhile, all damaged houses, schools and medical facilities in the localities were repaired before December 20, 2025. In Da Nang alone, the city’s public security force directly built or repaired 271 of the 505 affected houses, accounting for over 53% of the total, and provided essential household items to help residents quickly resume normal life.
In terms of social welfare, the ministry provided 50 million VND (1,900 USD) for each newly built house, with Ha Tinh province receiving an additional 1 billion VND in support. Policemen nationwide contributed one day’s salary, raising more than 124 billion VND for disaster-hit communities, while mobilizing over 120 billion VND from social resources.
The ministry also organized the transport and distribution of more than 900 tons of essential supplies, clean water, medical equipment and medicines, and dispatched medical teams to provide healthcare and disease prevention services in severely affected areas.
At present, grassroots public security forces continue to work with local authorities to assist residents with housing- and land-related administrative procedures, implement social welfare measures and support livelihood recovery, particularly for vulnerable groups, contributing to social stability and public order.
At the ceremony, the ministry awarded the certificates of merit to 49 collectives and 95 individuals for outstanding achievements in "Quang Trung Campaign," and presented Lunar New Year gifts to disadvantaged households.
