Artistic acts recapturing “Quang Trung festive evening” |
The program, in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Spring General Offensive and Uprising 1968, was a practical activity to welcome the lunar New Year 2023 and encourage the city’s Youth Union Organization members, youths, and teenagers to bring into play the revolutionary tradition, and cultivate patriotic spirit.
The “Quang Trung festive evening” was re-enacted through songs such as “Quang Trung festive evening,” “Thang Long nostalgic song," "Song of trust,” "Epic of spring," “Heading to Saigon,” “Saigon girl transporting ammo,” “Proud of the city I love.”

The program aimed to help Youth Union Organization members, youths, students in the city forever remember the older generation’s merits, while affirming youths’ gratitude, enthusiasm, determination to promote tradition, further study and work to contribute to the national and city’s development.
In the program, the Board of Managers of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Organization chapter's Traditional Club presented a picture with the words "Mau Than 1968 - An epic" to the standing board of the chapter and the books "Mau Than 1968 - An epic" to the chapter’s affiliates. This is a valuable reference for programs on traditional education, and activities of the chapter and its affiliates, especially in January and February 2023 activities under the theme "Continuing to write the epic of Spring in Mau Than 1968."

Also in the program, the chapter and Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Students’ Association rewarded good students and groups of good students in 2022. The activity was in celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnamese Students’ Association (January 9, 1950 - 2023).
