Press agencies asked to cover HCM City’s Party activities
PANO - The Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting with the press on January 9 under the co-chair of the committee’s Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan and the committee’s Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong.
The city leaders highlighted the good work of the press and media last year, emphasizing that the central and city’s press agencies conducted information dissemination in line with the laws and policies, contributing to orienting public opinion and creating high consensus among local people on the Party’s, State’s and city’s guidelines and policies.

The press agencies affirmed their role as an important information channel which actively popularized different fields with a focus on role models in all walks of life.
The city’s Party Committee and People’s Committee hoped that in the coming time, the press agencies will boost dissemination on all-level Party congresses, activities in celebration of the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and run more articles confirming the solidarity and creativeness of the local Party Committee, authorities and people.
