At the program, the hospital's leadership wished Truong Sa Lon’s cadres, troops and physicians good health and outstanding fulfilment of their tasks of protecting national sacred sovereignty over seas and islands and of caring for local people and fishermen. Via the video conference, Truong Sa Lon Island’s leadership thanked Hospital 175 for their assistance in ensuring medicines on the island and confirmed that the island’s troops would always be determined to fulfil all assigned missions.

Earlier, the hospital launched a Chung cake wrapping contest to present more than 350 Chung cakes (a cake made from glutinous rice traditionally dedicated to Tet) to families of doctors who are working on Truong Sa Island district and patients at the hospital.

Military Hospital 175's teleconference to extend New Year wishes to those on Truong Sa Lon island

* A delegation with representatives from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front chapter of Ho Chi Minh City, led by President of the municipal Fatherland Front chapter To Thi Bach Ngoc, on February 7 visited and extended Tet wishes to troops of the Military School of Military Region 7 (MR7), Reconnaissance Battalion 47 under the Staff of Military Region 7 and Gia Dinh Regiment (Ho Chi Minh City Military Command)

The city's leadership wished that troops would fulfil their tasks, contributing to augmenting the city's development.

* Army Corps 15 and its affiliate - Company 75, organized a program themed “Tet with love”. Accordingly, the chain of command of Army Corps 15 presented Tet gifts, with a total value of over VND 2.1 billion, to local authorities, poor households, policy beneficiary families and national contributors.

In addition, Company 75 also held meaningful activities in 50 villages and communes where the unit is stationed to bring a cozy Tet holiday to local people.

* The Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee of Binh Thuan province, in association with the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, visited and presented 458 Tet gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to social welfare beneficiaries. At the event, representatives wished good health to needy people and asked centers to organize a warm Tet holiday for beneficiaries.

* The Party Committee and Military Command of Hai Duong province visited and presented 141 Tet gifts, worth more than VND 163 million to national contributors and relatives of cadres and employees who are working on agencies and units.

* The Tuyen Quang provincial leadership presented more than VND 1.4 billion to 9,286 national contributors. They also visited and presented Tet gifts to 36 outstanding national contributors and 5 convalescent centers in the province.

* The Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province launched a program to support poor people on the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year 2018. The province is expected to present from 43.000 to 45.000 Tet gifts to poor households, people with disabilities and Agent Orange victims.

* The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), in collaboration with the Vinh Phuc Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presented 500 Tet gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to families of national contributors and poor people in the province.

* A delegation of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee visited and presented Tet gifts to retired senior officers of the provincial Party Committee. On the occasion of Tet holidays, Ca Mau province spent more than VND 33 billion to present gifts to needy people.
