Khanh Hoa youth join hands in new-style rural area building
PANO - Youth union organizations across Khanh Hoa province on March 13 started their action program themed “Khanh Hoa youth voluntarily take part in new-style rural area building.”

Under this program, youths will join hands to build a new cultural life in rural areas; build infrastructure, beautify scenery and protect environment; develop economy and production in association with agricultural restructuring, economic change, income improvement for youths. They will also pioneer in maintaining security and order in rural areas, form young intellectual groups to help rural areas to develop into new-style ones, and implement “one commune one product” (OCOP) program.

At the ceremony launched by Khanh Son district youth union organization in front of a nha dai (long-house) in Son Hiep commune, youths started the voluntary program “Lighting up rural roads,” planted trees for environmental protection, opened a training course on applying science and technology in a sustainable manner, visited youths’ startup models. The organization also signed a contract with businesses to establish a fund for youths to start up, raised money for the fund “Khanh Hoa youths and beloved Truong Sa,” debuted the voluntary team “Tourist guides for free,” and an artistic club named “Preserving cultural identity of Raglai ethnic people.”

Khanh Son - a poor mountainous district in Khanh Hoa province with no commune meeting new-style rural area criteria - was among the three localities chosen by Khanh Hoa provincial youth union organization to start this meaningful program in the hope that local youths could contribute their parts to bringing new look to the district.
