PANO – A delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, led by its Secretary Dinh La Thang, visited Prof., Dr. Tran Dong A, former Deputy Director of Children Hospital No.2, on February 22nd, on the occasion of Vietnam Doctors’ Day (February 27th).

At the reception, Prof. Tran Dong A, who received the title Hero of Labour, hoped that the city leader will pay attention to boosting family-doctor systems to better provide healthcare for people, definitely solving the problem of overloaded hospitals, and strictly managing the medical business.
For his part, Thang inquired after the doctor and highly valued his contributions to medical research activities, young doctors training, and the country’s health sector.
Secretary Thang wished the doctor good health and hoped that he will continue contributing to the development of the health sector in particular and other areas of the city in general.
