Distressed fisherman saved at sea
PANO – Ship SAR 412 of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (Vietnam MRCC) under the Ministry of Transport promptly brought a seriously wounded fisherman ashore to Da Nang on January 22 for treatment.
Previously, Hoang Phong, a crewmember of Fishing Trawler QB 91439 TS, was seriously hit on the face by the mooring rope when his ship was fishing about 100 nautical miles off the coast of Da Nang. The fishermen lost a lot of blood and was in a coma.

After receiving the news, the Vietnam MRCC immediately sent Ship SAR 412 to the scene while Da Nang City Health Emergency Center also sent a group of medical workers to join the rescue mission. When the rescue ship reached the trawler, doctors of Da Nang City Health Emergency Center provided emergency aid for the victim.
After getting better, the victim then was transported to Ship SAR 412 and taken ashore for further treatment.
