A proposal from AIA Ltd. Vietnam or AIA Vietnam to increase its chartered capital to VND 920 billion under licence 16/GPĐC7/KDBH has just been approved by the Finance Ministry.
According to Vietnam AIA officials, the move of the increased registered capital lies within its strategy to beef up its financial capacity and expand business activities and services in Vietnam.
Deputy General Director of Vietnam AIA Chung Ba Phuong said, “A rise in the company’s legal capital is very important to AIA Ltd. Vietnam.”
He explained that this shows the persistent commitment of AIA to its long-term business and development in the Vietnamese market and at the same time helps it further improve the quality of its services and ability to support clients.
This also lays a firm foundation for the company to introduce new products in line with the brisk development of the Vietnamese financial market, said the Deputy General Director.
